Quotations and currency
Prices are quoted in South African rand (ZAR) unless stated otherwise. A quotation is valid for seven calendar days, subject to availability, exchange-rate movement, taxes, fuel surcharges and supplier repricing. A booking is not confirmed until Luxora receives the required deposit or full payment and issues written confirmation.
Guest responsibilities
Guests must provide complete and accurate names, dates, passport/visa details, mobility needs, medical or dietary information relevant to safe delivery, and emergency contacts. Guests remain responsible for passports, visas, vaccinations, insurance, lawful conduct, punctuality and compliance with supplier rules.
Luxora’s role
Luxora curates, coordinates and advocates for guests. Many travel components are performed by independent suppliers. Luxora will exercise reasonable care in selecting and coordinating suppliers but cannot control their independent operations, weather, wildlife, transport networks, government decisions or other external conditions.
Changes by the guest
Requested changes are subject to availability and may result in repricing, change fees or supplier penalties. Luxora will explain known consequences before action where reasonably possible.
Changes by Luxora or suppliers
Luxora may make a reasonably equivalent substitution where safety, availability or operational circumstances require it. Material changes will be communicated promptly. Any price adjustment, credit or refund will be determined fairly with reference to the undelivered service and binding supplier terms.
Payment and non-payment
Payment milestones appear in the accepted quotation or itinerary. Luxora may pause work, release unconfirmed inventory or cancel affected services if payment is not received by the stated deadline, after reasonable notice where circumstances permit.
Cancellations and refunds
The Refund, Cancellation & Booking Changes Policy forms part of these terms. Supplier cancellation terms apply only to the extent lawful and clearly disclosed. Luxora will advocate for recoveries, credits and fair outcomes but cannot promise a supplier refund before it is received or confirmed.
Risk, insurance and conduct
Travel has inherent risks. Guests should obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, medical treatment, evacuation, baggage, delays and planned activities. Luxora may refuse or discontinue an unsafe, unlawful, abusive or materially disruptive request.
Liability
Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Subject to that limit, Luxora is responsible for its own proven breach or negligence, not for indirect loss or independent supplier acts outside Luxora’s reasonable control. Any limitation must be interpreted fairly under South African law.
Force majeure
Neither party is liable for delay or failure caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, natural events, epidemics, strikes, civil unrest, infrastructure failure, security threats or government restrictions. The parties will cooperate to mitigate loss and pursue lawful refunds, credits or rescheduling.
Law and disputes
South African law applies. Complaints should first be submitted to details@luxorasouthafrica.com so Luxora can attempt prompt resolution. Nothing prevents a consumer from approaching an ombud, regulator, tribunal or court with jurisdiction.
